About us
Perth Obedience and Dog Training Club Inc. (PTODC) was the first obedience dog club in Perth. From humble beginnings, the Club now holds obedience classes run by professional dog trainers on a Wednesday evening at Raphael Park and Agility classes on a Monday evening at Harold Rossiter Park which are both located in Victoria Park.
Our Mission & Vision
WHAT WE DO
Our main objective is to assist members to have well-socialised, well-mannered dogs. We use non-forceful methods and positive reinforcement.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are an enthusiastic not-for-profit club, run by a Committee of volunteers. Our trainers are members themselves and also volunteer their services to help people in the community enjoy working with their dogs.

Training is our passion
Welcome! If we had tails, they would be wagging to let you know we’re glad you’re here.
Dogs, are our passion, and if you’re here, chances are dogs are also a big part of your life. We love people who love dogs. (They are the best kind of people, we think!)
We love dogs, and like you, we share our life with them. Dogs are our friends, our family members, our teachers. Impossible to imagine life without them! Dogs fascinate us. From their astonishing noses to their immense capacity for love to the lovely warm weight of their heads in our hands, we want to understand them better in every possible way.
We are dedicated to helping dogs and the people who love them. Join us! Your dog will be so glad you did.
