From puppies to progressing teams, our goal is to help owners build skills, strengthen communication, and enjoy a better partnership with their dogs.

OUR STORY
A long-standing Perth club with a practical, community spirit
Perth Training and Obedience Dog Club offers obedience classes every Wednesday evening at Raphael Park and agility classes every Monday evening at Harold Rossiter Park, both in Victoria Park. The club’s focus is on helping dogs and handlers learn together in a supportive setting with practical, enjoyable training.Whether members are starting with a young dog or building on existing skills, PTODC provides a club environment where owners can keep learning, grow in confidence, and enjoy training as a shared journey.

OUR APPROACH
Training built on partnership, clarity, and real-life skills
At PTODC, training is about more than commands. It is about helping dogs and owners communicate clearly, work together confidently, and develop skills that carry over into everyday life.
Our classes are designed to support good manners, engagement, confidence, and a stronger working relationship between dogs and their handlers.

PTODC offers obedience classes, agility training and puppy classes in a practical club environment
Obedience Classes
Our obedience classes focus on social skills, loose lead walking, recalls basic manners and foundation exercies such as sit, drop and stand.
Agility Training
Fun, engaging sessions that help dogs exercise, improve coordination and strengthen teamwork with their owners
Puppy Classes
A safe environment for young dogs to build confidence, learn social skills and good behaviour reinforcing and enjoyable
